Deb Kilde, Admin. Assistant, was born and raised in a small town of Iowa until the of age 11. In 1972 the family moved to Loveland, Colorado. Deb married her husband Joe Kilde in 1981. Bouncing between Longmont and Loveland, her and Joe settled down in Berthoud Colorado. There they established the family business K&K Painting in 1992. Deb and Joe have two grown children and five grandchildren, four of which live with them. They were given custody in 2007 after receiving the children through the Department of Human Services. Along with running the family business Deb enjoys camping, 4 wheeling, hiking, canning and reading. Family is her priority and keeping her teen grandchildren busy is a full time job in itself. The children participate in Hearts and Horses, vaulting, wrestling, modeling, school activities and more. She also volunteers at the schools where the children attend. Deb loves to help people in need and always finds a way to contribute. Besides delivering food to the needy from the food bank she also assists older adults with cleaning, bookkeeping and meals to those in need. Deb was presented the idea of Grand Family Coalition in 2014 where she reluctantly thought we were crazy in taking on such a venture. She suggested the social/support group to be HUG’s, which it is called today. You can always find Deb behind the scenes cooking and cleaning. Deb has played a huge part in establishing GFC, providing hard work and support to others and the organization. We are blessed to have her on our board as well as an asset to others in our community.
